Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) is proud to announce its participation in the International Staff Training Week at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Poland. Represented by esteemed members of our staff, Dr. Helena Myeya, Dr. Gervas Kawonga, and Dr. Mirau Mbise, MUCE joins global counterparts to explore advancements in digital internationalization and other pivotal topics in higher education.

On October 25, 2024, Dr. Oscar Magava, a distinguished scholar from the Faculty of Education at Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE), participated in and facilitated a workshop at the Catholic University of Mbeya. Dr. Magava presented on a vital topic: "The Place of Universities in the Implementation of Education and Training Policy, 2014 (2023 Edition): Opportunities and Challenges."

Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) is thrilled to announce that two research projects featured our faculty have secured major grants. One of these includes Dr. Cornel Joseph, who is a PI, and the other one includes Dr. Ponsiano Kanijo, one of the project team member.

Enhancing Social Protection and Reducing Poverty through Conditional Cash Transfers

Dr. Nabwera Rashid, a scholar in psychology from the Faculty of Education at Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE), recently led an impactful workshop on Women and Children’s Mental Health Services in Arusha. Organized by FIDE Entertainment Company, this workshop took place on September 14, 2024, and brought together participants from various sectors.

Lengo kuu la kikao hicho ni kupata mwelekezo wa utekelezaji wa mradi mzima kwenye ujenzi wa majengo. MUCE, kupitia Mradi wa HEET, inajenga majengo manne: Hosteli ya Wanafunzi, Maabara ya Fizikia, Jengo la Midi Anuai na Elimu Maalum pamoja na Jengo la Sayansi.

This significant achievement not only reflects her hard work and dedication but also marks an exciting new chapter as she joins the Executive Management Team of TCU.

Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) successfully hosted the 2nd International Conference on Education, organized by its Faculty of Education. The event, which brought together scholars, educators, and stakeholders in the education sector, took place from 3rd to 4th October 2023 at the MUCE campus in Iringa, Tanzania.
