Dr Irunde is a Senior lecturer at Mkwawa University College of Education, A constituent College of University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. He owns Bachelor of Education in Science and Master of Science in Mathematical Modelling from the University of Dar es Salaam. He also owns PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology, Arusha-Tanzania. His areas of specialization include Epidemiological and Ecological Modelling. At Mkwawa University College of Education, he teaches courses in mathematics which include: Ordinary differential equations, Biomathematics, Linear Algebra I, Calculus of several variables and Complex Analysis I.
