Dr. Chacha Stephen Chacha (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Science at Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) within the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics in Iringa, Tanzania. With a notable academic trajectory, he obtained his PhD in Mathematics from Pusan National University, South Korea. Dr. Chacha's commitment to academia, research, and the pursuit of knowledge is exemplified through his multifaceted contributions within the university.
As an accomplished educator and researcher, Dr. Chacha not only imparts knowledge to students but also engages in groundbreaking research endeavors. Additionally, he serves as the Acting Director of Postgraduate Studies at MUCE, underscoring his commitment to fostering academic excellence beyond the classroom.
Dr. Chacha's research focuses on Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases, Numerical Methods, Nonlinear Matrix Equations, and Optimization (Scheduling) and Mathematics Education making substantial contributions to mathematical analysis and nonlinear equations with broad applications across diverse domains.
