Recognition Day at MUCE! 🎉
📍 16 May 2025 | MUCE Management Meeting
Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) continues to celebrate individuals whose commitment drives the institution forward. Today, during a special session of the MUCE Management Meeting, two exceptional members of staff were recognized for their outstanding efforts in strengthening the College’s academic and research capacity.
👏 Dr. Simon Lyuba, Medical Doctor at the MUCE Health Centre, was honoured for his instrumental role in establishing a strategic partnership with the Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF). Through this collaboration, MUCE received 20 desktop computers, a heavy-duty printer, and a projector—critical tools that will significantly boost digital learning and administrative efficiency across the College.
👏 Dr. Amos Ntarisa, Lecturer in Physics from the Faculty of Science, was acknowledged for his efforts in linking MUCE with international collaborators. Notably, through his engagement with Prof. HongJoo Kim of Kyungpook National University, South Korea, the College secured a donation of vital laboratory and research equipment, including a glass furnace, annealing furnace, and other specialized tools to support innovation and practical training in physics and material sciences.
These recognitions reflect MUCE’s culture of excellence and its appreciation for staff who go above and beyond to contribute to the institution’s mission.
💙 We congratulate Dr. Lyuba and Dr. Ntarisa for their exemplary service and dedication to advancing teaching, learning, and research at MUCE.
