The Iringa Regional Commissioner, Hon. Peter Serukamba, paid an official visit to Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) to inspect various ongoing construction projects at the institution.

During his visit, Hon. Serukamba expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of the infrastructure being developed at MUCE. He commended the Government of Tanzania for its significant investment in higher education, emphasizing that such developments are crucial for advancing academic excellence and national growth.

Additionally, Hon. Serukamba urged lecturers and academic staff at MUCE to remain committed and work diligently to ensure the institution produces highly skilled graduates who will contribute effectively to the education sector.

To mark the conclusion of his visit, Hon. Serukamba participated in a tree-planting exercise alongside MUCE leadership, including the Acting Principal, Prof. Deusdedit A. Rwehumbiza. He reiterated the government’s continued support for MUCE, pledging ongoing collaboration to enhance the college’s development and daily operations.
