We are delighted to present the inaugural issue of Education: Journal of Teaching and Learning (EJTL), Volume 1, Issue 1 (June 2025). This inaugural issue marks a significant milestone for Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) as we advance our mission to strengthen academic communication, promote educational research, and foster innovation in the field of education, both in Tanzania and beyond. The issue features seven rigorously peer-reviewed articles authored by researchers from diverse educational backgrounds. These contributions explore critical issues, challenges, opportunities, and innovative practices aimed at enhancing teaching and learning across all levels of education. While rooted in local Tanzanian contexts, the studies also align with international academic standards, offering valuable insights for scholars, policymakers, and education stakeholders alike. Through the EJTL (Educational Journal of Teaching and Learning), we aspire to establish a reputable academic platform where researchers, educators, students, and stakeholders can publish their work, exchange knowledge, and engage in meaningful discourse on the present and future of education.
