Iringa RC Visits MUCE

The Iringa Regional Commissioner, Hon. Peter Serukamba, paid an official visit to Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) to inspect various ongoing construction projects at the institution.

MUCE Hosts Training on Construction

Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) successfully hosted a Training Program on Construction & Site Management from January 29th to 31st, 2025. The three-day event, held at the MUCE campus in Iringa, was officiated by the Acting College Principal, Prof. Deusdedit A. Rwehumbiza and brought together engineers, project managers, and key stakeholders to enhance expertise in construction supervision, compliance, and management under the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project.

Prof. Daniel Mushi Visits MUCE to Observe Progress on Development Projects

January 11, 2024 – Prof. Daniel Mushi, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Science, Technology, and Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, conducted a visit to Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) to assess the progress of various construction projects, including the ones funded by the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project.

MUCE Welcomes New Postgraduate Students

On January 6, 2025, the Directorate of Postgraduate Studies at MUCE hosted a Postgraduate Orientation and Capacity Building Session for new postgraduate students. The event, attended by deans, heads of departments, and other invited leaders, provided an essential platform for fostering academic excellence and strengthening postgraduate student engagement at MUCE.

MUCE Welcomes Prof. Ireneusz Dabrowski from Warsaw School of Economics, Poland

Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) is delighted to host Prof. Ireneusz Dabrowski from the Warsaw School of Economics, Poland, for a five-day academic visit.

During his stay, Prof. Dabrowski has engaged in productive discussions with key stakeholders at MUCE, including members of the academic staff, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Head of Internationalization and Convocation. The discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration in joint research projects.

MUCE Honoured as Most Outstanding Affiliate Institution in Education

We are thrilled to announce that on November 14, 2024, Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) was recognised as the Most Outstanding Affiliate Institution in Education at the prestigious African Academic Conference and Awards held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
