The programme covers a wide range of educational courses and minor subject-content components selected from among arts subjects. It produces graduates with a good understanding of educational issues in the country, the region and the world in general. Graduates of the programme will possess a deep understanding of education principles and effective teaching practices, enabling them to provide guidance and counseling in line with educational standards. They will also have the skills and knowledge to assume leadership roles within the teaching profession and broader community, with expertise in curriculum design, teaching methodologies, and education management.
Entry requirements: Candidates with Form VI combinations of HGL, HGK, ECA, HKL, KLF, and HGE. Candidates must have either two Principal Level Passes in approved subjects at the same examination sitting or two Principal Level Passes in appropriate subjects, even if not from the same sitting, provided both passes are of grade 'C' or higher at the Advanced Level. The Minimum Admission Points for Form VI is set at 5 points from 3 subjects, with grades assigned as follows: A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1, and S = 0.5. As an Equivalent Entry Qualification, candidates can possess a Diploma in Education with a minimum of Second class or Credit level, or an average grade of B or Upper Second Class.
