15–16 May 2025 | MUCE Campus
At Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE), leadership is not just taught — it is lived.
On 15th May 2025, the MUCE student body, through its representative government DARUSO-MUCE, held a successful and peaceful election to select new leaders for the 2025/2026 academic year. The process was marked by transparency, a spirit of democracy, and high levels of student engagement, underscoring MUCE’s commitment to nurturing future leaders through active participation and responsibility.
The following day, 16th May 2025, the newly elected student leaders took their oath of office in a formal swearing-in ceremony held at the campus. Among the leaders sworn in were:
Mr. Mussa Mgema – President, DARUSO-MUCE
Bi. Neema Mathayo – Vice President
They were joined by other committed student leaders ready to serve the student community.
MUCE congratulates all the newly elected leaders and extends its best wishes as they embark on their leadership journey. May they serve with integrity, passion, and a strong vision for progress and inclusivity.
Together, we continue building a vibrant, participatory, and empowered student community.
