Ujumbe huo umeongozwa na Mwenyekiti wa CCM Mkoa, Comrade Daud Yassin, ukiwa na lengo la kukagua maendeleo ya ujenzi wa miundombinu inayotekelezwa kupitia Mradi wa Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET).

As Tanzania advances the implementation of the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC) across all levels of education, Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) continues to play a leading role in aligning teacher preparation with national priorities.
On 6th May 2025, Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) proudly convened a Stakeholder Consultation Meeting as part of the ADVANCE Project—Advancing Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship through Postgraduate Education in East Africa.
As part of the ADVANCE Project (Advancing Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship through Postgraduate Education in East Africa), MUCE hosted a stakeholder consultation meeting aimed at developing a competency framework for social entrepreneurship.
The Governing Board of MUCE, at its 101st meeting held on 5th May 2025, approved the promotion of two academic staff members from the rank of Lecturer to Senior Lecturer, effective from 1st July 2025.
The promoted staff members are:
