Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) successfully held a vibrant Health Awareness Seminar and Medical Exhibition on 10th May 2025, bringing together students, health experts, and institutional partners in a joint effort to promote health education and wellness across campus.
The event focused on critical health issues affecting young people, including HIV/AIDS, drug abuse, and non-communicable diseases, with the goal of equipping students with the knowledge and tools needed to lead healthier lives.
💬 Highlights of the Day:
✅ Free HIV testing and general medical check-ups
✅ Blood donation drive engaging dozens of student volunteers
✅ Educational sessions on HIV prevention, substance abuse, and healthy living
✅ Distribution of hand crutches to students with special needs
✅ Certification of newly trained peer educators to support ongoing health advocacy on campus
