Dr. Nabwera Rashid, a scholar in psychology from the Faculty of Education at Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE), recently led an impactful workshop on Women and Children’s Mental Health Services in Arusha. Organized by FIDE Entertainment Company, this workshop took place on September 14, 2024, and brought together participants from various sectors.

With a focus on improving mental health resources and support systems, Dr. Rashid’s facilitation provided practical guidance on addressing the unique mental health needs of women and children in Tanzania. Through her expertise, participants engaged in discussions on identifying mental health challenges, reducing stigma, and fostering accessible support networks in communities.
