On 19th April 2025, MUCE hosted a highly informative and engaging Cross-Border Opportunity Training aimed at empowering students with essential knowledge on further studies, studying abroad, and securing the right scholarships. The training was an exceptional opportunity for students to learn how to navigate the complexities of international education and funding.

The event was honoured by the presence of Prof. D. Fussy, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Cosmas Jalang’o participated as a Special Guest. Both brought valuable insights into the significance of global education opportunities.

The training covered critical topics such as why students should consider further studies, the benefits of studying abroad, and how to identify suitable scholarships and internships. The facilitators, including Dr. Hawa Mpate, Dr. Musa Stephano, Dr. Japhace Poncian, and Mr. Sweetbert Anselimus, guided the attendees through the process of understanding eligibility criteria for both general and specific scholarships.

The event was organized by a dedicated team comprising Dr. Hawa Mpate (Convener), Sweetbert Anselimus, and Musa Amosi, who worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and insightful session.
