MUCE Health Awareness Seminar & Medical Exhibition 2025

Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) successfully held a vibrant Health Awareness Seminar and Medical Exhibition on 10th May 2025, bringing together students, health experts, and institutional partners in a joint effort to promote health education and wellness across campus.

The event focused on critical health issues affecting young people, including HIV/AIDSdrug abuse, and non-communicable diseases, with the goal of equipping students with the knowledge and tools needed to lead healthier lives.

💬 Highlights of the Day:

  • ✅ Free HIV testing and general medical check-ups

  • ✅ Blood donation drive engaging dozens of student volunteers

  • ✅ Educational sessions on HIV prevention, substance abuse, and healthy living

  • ✅ Distribution of hand crutches to students with special needs

  • ✅ Certification of newly trained peer educators to support ongoing health advocacy on campus
