Biography

Biography

Dr Michael Joel Kalenge is a lecturer in literature at Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE), a Constituent College of the University of Dar es salaam. Dr Kalenge holds a PhD. in Literature, Master of Arts in Literature and a Bachelor of Arts with Education (Literature & History) from the University of Dar es salaam, respectively.

Dr Kalenge’s academic skills include:

  1. Qualitative research; and mixed methods research approaches, 
  2. Teaching Literature courses,
  3. Literary studies curriculum development and designs, 
  4. Academic Texts Writing and, 
  5. Editing and Translation.

Dr Kalenge is also a Poet (author of Likomeza Poems), Novelist (author of Gullible Land & Moto Mchangani) and Radio Personality.
