Biography

Dr. Myeya Helena Elias is currently working as Senior Lecturer at the University of Dar es salaam, Mkwawa University College of Education in Geography Department. She holds a PhD degree in Geography from the University of Dar es Salaam. She is an environmental scientist focusing on climate change, agriculture and food security. She is also knowledgeable in areas of environmental impact assessment, environment auditing, environmental monitoring, facilitating strategic plan development, awareness creation activities, and project monitoring and evaluation.

 

Dr. Myeya is also serving as a Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
