Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in Special Needs Education with over 14 years of teaching in Teachers’ Colleges and Universities. I have supervisory skills, strong analytical skills using Excel and statistical software. I have fluency in English and Kiswahili.

 

Outside academics, I am Acting Deputy Principal - Academic, Research and Consultancy at MUCE.

I have been involved in a number of training as a facilitator. Below are selected consultancies and training I have facilitated:

  • Training Facilitator and Technical advisor of the In-service Training (INSET) focusing on Early Grade Reading and Early Grade Mathematics among Primary School Teachers, DEOs, DAS, REOs & Tutors in Kigoma Region under EQUIP-T Project, July 2014, to date.

  • External Examiner for Postgraduate Programmes at Mzumbe University, 2015 to date, and St. Augustine University of Tanzania (Mwanza) in 2016.

  • Principal Investigator – Literacy and Numeracy Education Support (LANES) Project carried out in Kongwa and Ludewa Districts funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

  • Coordinator – USAID Tusome Pamoja Project carried out in Ruvuma Region funded by USAID.
