MUCE Participated in the Final Review of Teacher Education Programmess at UDSM

On May 16 and 17, 2024, academic staff from Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) participated in the final review of Teacher Education programmes held at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). This significant event also included staff from the School of Education (SoED) and Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE).

In this event, participants engaged in a comprehensive overview of teacher education programmes, focusing on the integration of the Teaching Practice (TP) and Pedagogical Training (PT) within these programmes. Additionally, there was a strong emphasis on incorporating cross-cutting issues, such as gender, inclusivity, and sustainability, into teacher education.

The event was sponsored by the Higher of Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project, which is a five-years project funded by the Word Bank through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
