The Faculty fosters critical thinking, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of the human experience.

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FoHSS) is one of the three faculties of MUCE that was established in 2005/2006. It is the largest Faculty in the College comprised of three departments and one centre.

The Faculty has established bilateral inter-institutional agreements for learning mobility with prestigious universities such as the University of Economics and Innovation (WSEI), Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), and the University of Gothenburg. These collaborations enhance the academic experiences of both students and staff.

FoHSS is actively engaged in research, with a remarkable 13 ongoing research projects. Since its inception in 2005, the Faculty has contributed significantly to the academic community, producing over 250 publications.
