Ms. Debora Mahushi's Research Endeavors in FLK, Freiberg Leather Institute in Germany

We are delighted to share the exciting research journeys of Ms. Debora Mahushi, a member of the Faculty of Science.

Ms. Mahushi embarked on a research expedition to the FLK, Freiberg Leather Institute in Germany, where she focused on enhancing the mechanical properties of Vegetables Alum Tanned Leather using Collagen Hydrolysate and Granofin Easy F-90. Under the guidance of Dr. Mondschein Anke, Head of the Department of Leather and Leather Processing, Ms. Mahushi conducted her research from September 7th, 2023, through February 4th, 2024.

Continuing her scholarly pursuits, Ms. Mahushi has been accepted to visit the CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Here, she continues her investigation into enhancing the mechanical properties of Vegetables Alum Tanned Leather using Collagen Hydrolysate and Granofin Easy F-90.

Dr. Swarna V Kanth, Senior Principal Scientist in the Department of Science and Technology, Faculty of Leather Technology, extends hospitality to Ms. Mahushi from March 6th, 2024, through September 4th, 2024.

Ms. Mahushi's dedication to advancing knowledge and innovation in leather technology is commendable, and we eagerly anticipate the valuable insights she will contribute to our field through her research endeavors.
