Biography

Dr. Shakila Halifan Mteti is a lecturer in the Department of History, Political Sciences and Development Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences teaching history and archaeology courses. Dr. Shakila is a scholar, researcher and consultant in areas of archaeology, cultural heritage management, economic history, indigenous technologies, gender, and rural livelihood. Dr. Mteti is passionate in writing academic papers, reports and mentor of undergraduate and postgraduate students on the areas of her specialization.
