Requirements

An Applicant who holds unclassified degrees (e.g., B.V. Sc. M.D. etc.) should have a credit or distinction in the subject of the intended Master’s programme. Candidates with Pass degrees will also be considered if:-
Their undergraduate performance in the proposed subject of study was a ‘B’ grade or higher.
They have satisfied the relevant School/College/Institute that they have exhibited potential through subsequent research experience and/or additional training.
An Advanced Diploma from a recognized higher learning institution with a minimum of an upper second class PLUS Postgraduate Diploma and Secondary School Certificates.
A recognized professional qualification (CPA, CSP, ACCA, CA, CIB, MCIM, CMA certificate) PLUS
Secondary School Certificates.

This programme aims at providing skills and knowledge that integrate natural resources and human security. It builds capacity for conflict mediation and resolution emanating from natural resources exploration, extraction, use and marketing to meet the human resource demands in the government, research institutions and natural resource exploitation firms in Tanzania and beyond.

Requirements

Entry requirements: A minimum G.P.A. of 2.7 in bachelor’s degree in any of the following subjects: Geography, Hydrology, Ecology, Biology, Economics, Forestry/Wildlife Management, Agricultural Science, Natural Resource Management, Geology, Community development and Environmental Science; or a postgraduate diploma in a related discipline.

The programme intends to create a critical mass of well-educated and competent Mathematics graduates equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to address pressing societal problems effectively.

Requirements

Entry requirements: At least a Second Class degree with a G.P.A. not less than 2.7 from a recognised institution of higher learning. Candidates with a pass degree may also be considered for admission if their undergraduate performance in the proposed subject of study was a B grade or higher, and they have satisfied the University regarding their academic potential through subsequent research experience and/or additional training. Candidates with a coursework average of B+ or higher in a relevant postgraduate diploma may upgrade to registration for a dissertation leading to a relevant Master's Degree may also apply for this programme. The same goes for holders of Bachelor of Science (Education) or Bachelor of Education (Science) degrees from a recognised institution, with a good background in mathematics.
